Upcoming Event: Financial Planning for US Americans in Germany

Attention all US Americans living in Germany! Mark your calendar for Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 19:00 CET.

To celebrate Independence Day, I'm partnering with Horbach Expats on a special event for my fellow Amis in Deutschland, that will provide an overview of financial advising topics.

A couple weeks ago, I polled you guys to find out what financial planning topics you most want to know about. Based on your feedback, we plan to hit the following topics: Germany's social security system (and its lackings), addressing personal gaps, how to profit from tax optimization strategies and subventions, and flexible options for those that might relocate again.

It was a huge relief when I found out about Horbach Expats, because I personally am way behind on learning how to manage and plan my finances. I had started to figure things like retirement out back when I lived in the US, but moving to Germany put a real wrench in everything. I have so much to learn and so many questions, so I'm really excited for the event.

Another thing that's important to me: the team behind Horbach Expats is young women from a range of countries, who all share the value that financial literacy and financial freedom should be a right, not a privilege. They totally get the struggles a lot of us find ourselves in, and they're here to empower us expats/immigrants/foreigners to feel capable of handling our finances in our life abroad. Can't make the event? Or are you from a country other than the US? Visit Horbach Expats to schedule an individual consultation, which are available in 6 languages.

The online event will run for an hour, and it's totally free. You can register today here.
